Alden Jones
Alden Jones is an interdisciplinary writer-researcher with a PhD in Creative Practice from the Transart Institute at Liverpool John Moores University. She offers lectures, conversations, and short-term educational programming on topics related to literature and its future, writing craft, creative writing as a research method into the self, ethical travel, and the psychological and cultural benefits of a reading practice. Her teaching expertise has been cited by Teen Vogue, the Christian Science Monitor, and the Associated Press; recent podcast appearances include The Faculty Lounge, Slate’s Outward podcast, and Alyssa Milano’s Sorry Not Sorry. [include links to each of these, below] A long-time international educator, Alden speaks on cruise lines as a culture lecturer for Sixth Star. She is on the Fulbright Specialist roster as an expert in creative writing pedagogy until 2027 with current programming in development at Kampu-Mera publishing house in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
